Jada still talks about Ruby all the time. She so much would like to travel to China with us and Sheila and I are continuously weighing the pros and cons of the decision to take her. Our biggest concern if for her health and safety depending on the area to which we will travel. We probably won't be able to make a decision with any certainty until that variable is known to us and we won't know that until referral.
We recently attended a group playdate / Easter egg hunt at the home of our dear friends Joel and Donna Sanders. Jada had a GREAT time, as did all the little China Angels and their families. The weather counld not have cooperated any better and it was a wonderful day of fellowship and fun. To the left is a picture of all the girls and their mothers of caregivers. After this pictures was taken, we switched off and took a similar shot with the fathers.
Here is a picture I took of Jada and her good friend Abbey Grace in the playhouse. They love each other and get along wonderfully. They each spend time at the other's house and seem so much like sisters. I can see them being best friends as they get older.
Well, it's time for me to call this entry done. We still alive and we're still kickin'. If we're bypassed on next month's referral though, I will be looking for something else at the end of my foot.
So long for now...
